GeneralFukushima M7.1 Earthquake shakes the Mole Valley !
The recent big earthquake offshore Fukushima in Japan produced quite a response on the MVGS RaspberryShake seismometer. The magnitude 7.1 quake, from about 60km depth and something like 9,500km away produced a strong P-wave signal, which can be seen on this website in the Geophysics section. There was no matching S-wave responce due to the distance. None of the aftershocks (M <5.2) have been visible.
